surroundings of the estuary of Muros and Noia, at the entrance of the same and at the foot of Mount Louro that falls on the estuary, on the border of the municipality of Muros with Carnota.<\/p><p>We are surrounded by two of the best beaches in the area, the spectacular beach of Lari\u00f1o with its lighthouse in the background is situated to the right of our flats while the beach of Area Maior with its unique lagoon and its dunes is to the left. We are situated at the foot of a small cove also called Ancoradoiro. With its beautiful stretch of white sand, its dunes and the impressive lagoon that characterises it, this beach is a paradise for sun and sea lovers, as well as being a protected natural area.<br \/>In winter you can observe the strength of the sea and the rupture of the lagoon, which at times of great flow generates a beautiful spectacle opening to the sea.<\/p><p>In addition, Area Maior offers a wide variety of water sports to enjoy, such as surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing and paddle surfing. The excellent quality of the waves and the Atlantic winds make it the perfect place to practice these sports.<\/p><p>The surf school is also located on this beach. <b><a href=\"https:\/\/abellago.com\/la-escuela\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Abel Lago Watersports<\/a><\/b> where they offer courses in all water sports and have instructors and equipment available to make the most of the possibilities of the surroundings. Nature lovers can also enjoy some great hiking trails around the lagoon or Mount Louro.
